Prayer of personal peace

In this time of peace, I open my heart to you Lord,
In the silence I am still, listening to my breathing;
Taking in the air, the breath of life that you gave to me.
In this time of peace, I offer myself to you Lord
In the silence I am still, letting thoughts flow;
Allowing you into my life, allowing myself to be inspired.
In this time of peace, you are with me Lord,
In the silence I am still, calmer now knowing you are near:
Lord, help me to relax, in hope, in faith, in love.
Lord, in the peace, hear my prayer.
