We are now selling a small range of food products from Traidcraft such as biscuits, dried fruit, Geobars (Pauline's favourites!) sweets, coffee etc. Any purchase of these items goes directly to Traidcraft. Traidcraft is the U.K's largest fair trade organisation which was set up in 1979 to challenge the unfair way in which international trading systems are usually structured. Traidcraft's approach to trading means that wherever possible, the products come from groups of people organised primarily for for the benefit of their members and the community. This means that fair wages are paid and better than average working conditions are available for the community. Traidcraft's policy also encourages and enables workers participation in ownership and decision making. Fairtrade makes a real difference to the lives of the producers including better health care, housing, education, safer water supplies and a better diet. We do not have a vast variety of produce, but selling any one item will make a difference!

Please note that we are closed on Sundays and also for 1 hour between 9 am and 10 am on Tuesday mornings for staff training.

Various specials are served daily and these are Displayed in the teashop. We have full waitress service.

Come and try our tasty homemade soups and cream teas, both are well worth a try. Or like something tasty with your coffee? The tray bakes should be just right for you.!...
