The Swanage Christian Centre Bookshop is situated upstairs above the tearoom.

Easy Access!

The stairs are no problem because should you feel like a leisurely ride up, the stairlift is always available. In the room at the top of the stairs, there's an inviting selection of comfortable chairs where everyone is welcome to come and rest for a while and relax in the peaceful atmosphere. This room is also used for evening meetings when the shop isn't open.

The bookshop has a very good selection of Bibles, dated Bible Reading Notes, popular Christian books and C.D.'s, as well as Christian greetings cards for all occasions and gifts for all ages.

If a book isn't available in the shop at the time of your visit, we can usually obtain it very quickly, sometimes by the next day. This includes secular books as well as Christian ones.

Out of Print books

Sometimes books have the annoying habit of going out of print and if they are not available on the shelves in bookshops, there's usually very little chance of obtaining them. Why not ask the manager to see if she could possibly track down a second hand copy for you? She is always more than happy to try, you only have to ask or telephone her!

Jigsaw Library

We have a Jigsaw Library in this part of the centre where folk are very welcome to come and borrow any of the jigsaws for as long as they like. There are a variety of sizes of puzzles for children and grown up's - from Micky Mouse to Wareham Quay - from 25 to 2000 pieces!

Music and CD's

We also stock a good range of very reasonably priced classical C.D's. CD's can also be ordered, just let us know what you want. Try CD Reviews to get some ideas!

Although we do not have the space to keep classical and popular sheet music, we are always happy to order these as well.
