Listening Service
Do you find that people are too busy to listen to you?
Perhaps we can help.
We are a small group of listeners trained by the Acorn Healing Trust. We also happen to be Christians. We are willing to meet you on a one-to-one basis when you can talk about whatever is on your mind.
We are not councillors, but a qualified counsellor supports us and is willing to offer occasional more specialised help, if needed.
As Christian Listeners...
We will:- listen without interruption
- treat you with respect and not judge you
- keep your conversation confidential
- encourage you to prioritise and see your way forward
- gossip
- condemn you or belittle your problems
- give you advice
- try and impose our faith on you
